Massachusetts Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Training Program

CMA's are employees of long-term care (LTC) facilities who are certified to administer medications to residents in LTC's. Massachusetts uses a state-approved, standardized curriculum to prepare Certified Medication Aides for practice. This training is guided by Department of Public Health requirements and aligns with state regulations. Training is provided by the Center for Developmental Disabilities Evaluation and Research (CDDER) at UMass Chan Medical School.
